Variety characteristics:

• 35 Yellow Heart is an indeterminate beefsteak tomato producing large, golden-yellow fruits in attractive heart-shaped to broad-heart forms. Fruits typically weigh approximately 7.1–17.6 oz, with size and shape varying across the harvest. As they ripen, some tomatoes may develop a delicate rosy blush near the blossom end, adding a subtle two-tone accent to the smooth yellow skin. The substantial interior is juicy and meaty, making these large fruits especially rewarding for fresh slicing. Yellow tomatoes are often milder and less tangy than red varieties, with a gentle sweetness that becomes more noticeable when fruits are fully ripe. The vigorous vines continue growing through the season and need sturdy stakes, cages, or trellising to support the heavy fruit. Harvest when the fruit is fully golden and gives slightly to gentle pressure. Excellent for sandwiches, salads, fresh tomato platters, juice, and mild sauces.
