Variety characteristics:

• 346 Pink Mace is a distinctive midseason tomato producing unusually shaped pink fruits weighing approximately 3.5 to 8.8 oz. The tomatoes range from elongated pears and tapered pouches to broad-bottomed mace-like forms, with occasional shallow ribs and gently pointed or blunt ends adding character to every harvest. Smooth coral-pink to deep rose skin surrounds dense, meaty flesh with very few seeds, a satisfying tomato flavor, and a light refreshing tang. The firm fruits hold their shape well after harvest, making this variety especially useful when good keeping quality is desired. Vigorous indeterminate plants grow approximately 5 feet tall outdoors and may reach 6 feet under greenhouse conditions. Provide sturdy staking or trellising to support the productive vines and substantial fruits. Excellent for fresh slicing, salads, sandwiches, stuffing, roasting, thick sauces, salsa, and attractive tomato platters.
