Variety characteristics:

• 344 Submarine Blush is a vigorous midseason cherry tomato producing hundreds of plump pear-shaped fruits weighing approximately 0.7 to 1.4 oz. The 1.5-inch tomatoes ripen from golden yellow to warm amber-orange, gradually developing beautiful coral-pink, rose-red, and crimson blushes across the skin. Each cluster may display several stages of color at once, creating a glowing mixture of gold, orange, and rosy red throughout the harvest. The juicy, firm fruits offer a mild, refined sweetness with delicate fruity flavor and enough freshness to remain lively rather than sugary. Bushy indeterminate plants develop regular foliage, short internodes, and abundant side shoots, reaching approximately 5 to 6.5 feet tall and producing heavily from midseason onward. Provide a strong cage or trellis and prune selectively to maintain airflow without removing too much productive growth. Excellent for garden snacking, lunch boxes, salads, skewers, colorful tomato platters, roasting, fresh salsa, preserves, and restaurant-style garnishes.
