Variety characteristics:

• 334 Andy Stripes is a distinctive midseason striped tomato producing flattened beefsteak fruits weighing approximately 5.3 to 8.8 oz. Broad, wavy shoulders and deep ribbing around the stem give each tomato a bold, sculpted appearance. The skin ripens through a rich range of light red, brick red, crimson, mahogany, and chocolate-red, decorated with dramatic forest-green and olive-green stripes that remain visible at full maturity. Inside, the dense yet exceptionally juicy flesh develops vivid red to dark cherry-red coloring with numerous small seed cavities. Its full-bodied flavor combines substantial sweetness, rich classic tomato character, and a light refreshing acidity that keeps every slice lively and balanced. Medium-vigor indeterminate plants develop regular foliage and provide excellent production from midseason until frost. Train the vines to one or two main stems and provide a sturdy stake or trellis to support the heavy, ribbed fruits.
