316 Lush Queen is a striking mid-to-late-season tomato producing round to slightly flattened beefsteak fruits weighing approximately 5.3 to 10.6 oz in this seed line. The beautiful pink to rosy-red skin is painted with irregular green stripes that mature to metallic gold, creating fine brushstrokes, mottling, and variable markings across each fruit. Inside, the dense, meaty pink-red flesh is juicy and substantial, delivering a mild, harmonious sweetness with gentle tomato acidity. Vigorous indeterminate plants develop regular-leaf foliage and generally reach approximately 5 to 6 feet tall, continuing to set colorful fruits over an extended harvest. Provide a strong cage or stake, maintain even soil moisture, and protect ripening fruits from sudden heavy watering to reduce cracking. Excellent for fresh slicing, sandwiches, salads, caprese, tomato platters, roasting, and fresh sauces.
