312 Marchenfee Fairytale Fairy is an exceptionally productive mid-early tomato producing abundant clusters of elongated amphora-shaped cherry fruits weighing approximately 0.5 to 0.7 oz in this seed line. The graceful pink to raspberry-pink tomatoes develop pointed blossom ends and dramatic violet, indigo, and nearly black anthocyanin shading across the sun-exposed shoulders, often blending into smoky streaks along the upper body. Firm, juicy pink flesh delivers wonderful sweetness, gentle tomato flavor, and exotic fruity notes reminiscent of mango, medlar, and babaco when allowed to ripen fully on the plant. Vigorous bush-type plants develop slender, flexible stems and delicate regular-leaf foliage, generally reaching approximately 4.6 feet while producing dense clusters from midseason until cool weather. Allow the plants to branch naturally for maximum production, or train them to two or three stems for larger, more uniform fruits, and provide a cage or multiple stakes to support the heavily loaded branches. Excellent for fresh snacking, lunchboxes, salads, caprese, garnishes, antipasti, pickling, drying, and colorful tomato platters.
