311 Marchenengel Fairytale Angel is an exceptionally productive mid-early tomato producing abundant clusters of elongated, amphora-shaped cherry fruits weighing approximately 0.2 to 0.9 oz. The luminous tomatoes mature from pale green to creamy white and soft lemon-cream, developing dramatic violet, indigo, and nearly black anthocyanin shading across the sun-exposed shoulders with smoky, feathered transitions into the pale lower body. Crisp, exceptionally juicy cream-colored flesh delivers honeyed sweetness, very mild acidity, and delicate exotic fruit notes reminiscent of mango, medlar, and babaco when fully ripe. Vigorous bush-type plants develop slender, flexible stems and delicate regular-leaf foliage, generally reaching approximately 4.6 feet while setting heavy clusters over a concentrated harvest period. Allow the plants to branch naturally for maximum production, or train them to two or three stems for larger, more uniform fruits, and provide a wide cage or multiple stakes to support the heavily loaded branches. Excellent for fresh snacking, lunchboxes, salads, caprese, garnishes, antipasti, pickling, drying, grilling, and colorful tomato platters.
