304 Strawberry Sergeant Orange F5 is an experimental midseason tomato selection producing broad, beautifully tapered heart-shaped fruits weighing approximately 5.3 to 12.3 oz in the currently observed seed line. The luminous golden-yellow to rich orange skin develops smoky violet, indigo, and nearly black anthocyanin shading across the sun-exposed shoulders, sometimes accompanied by soft rose-red blushes and purple feathering along the ribs. Inside, the dense, exceptionally meaty golden-orange flesh is dramatically marbled with crimson and deep pink radiating streaks. Juicy sweetness, tropical fruit character, and very mild perceived acidity create a rich, dessert-like flavor with a lingering finish. Vigorous indeterminate plants are expected to reach approximately 5.9 to 6.6 feet. Train the vines to one or two stems and provide a tall, sturdy trellis to support the substantial fruits. Excellent for fresh slicing, sandwiches, salads, caprese, tomato platters, chilled soups, juice, and golden-orange sauces.
