30 Marsha's Starfighter Heart is a distinctive midseason indeterminate tomato selected and stabilized by Florida breeder Marsha Eisenberg as part of the Star Wars-themed breeding line. Tall vines can exceed 6.2 feet and produce attractive heart-shaped fruits weighing approximately 3.5–10.6 oz, with occasional larger specimens. Fruit shape varies naturally from plump, rounded hearts to elongated hearts with a pronounced pointed tip. The skin ripens to mahogany red, reddish brown, or warm burnt orange and is decorated with olive-green longitudinal stripes. Sun-exposed shoulders may show subtle purple anthocyanin shading. Inside, the dense burgundy flesh is firm yet juicy, delivering a rich, full-bodied flavor with balanced sweetness, pleasant acidity, and a fruity finish. Provide sturdy staking or trellising and train plants to two or three main stems. Excellent for fresh slicing, sandwiches, salads, tomato platters, sauces, and collector gardens.
