295 Jarson 18 is a spectacular midseason Polish tomato producing large, round to flattened beefsteak fruits weighing approximately 8.8 to 14.1 oz. The heavily shouldered tomatoes mature through shades of olive green, golden ochre, bronze, and warm copper, developing irregular pink, brick-red, and crimson blushes with fine green striping across the skin. Inside, the exceptionally juicy, meaty flesh combines yellow-green and ochre coloring with vivid pink and red marbling through the center. Rich sweetness, jammy fruit character, pronounced aroma, gentle acidity, and a lingering tropical finish create an exceptionally complex eating experience. Vigorous indeterminate regular-leaf plants develop sturdy stems, reach approximately 6.5 feet or taller, and produce generous sets of substantial fruits over the main harvest season. Train the vines to one or two stems and provide a tall, secure trellis to support the heavy clusters. Excellent for fresh slicing, sandwiches, salads, caprese, salsa, chilled soups, juice, and colorful fresh sauces.
