292 English Breakfast Multiflora is an exceptionally productive midseason tomato producing enormous, highly branched clusters of bright red plum-shaped fruits weighing approximately 0.5 to 0.9 oz. The smooth tomatoes range from oval and elongated plum-shaped to small pear-shaped, often developing gently tapered bodies and distinctive pointed or curved blossom ends. Firm, juicy red flesh provides pleasing sweetness, a pronounced fresh tomato aroma, and enough acidity to create a lively, balanced flavor. Vigorous indeterminate regular-leaf vines reach approximately 5 to 6.5 feet tall and form complex multiflora trusses that may carry dozens of flowers and ripening fruits at different stages. Train the plants to one or two stems and provide a tall trellis, supporting the largest branched trusses individually as the crop develops. Excellent for fresh snacking, breakfast plates, lunchboxes, salads, skewers, roasting, drying, salsa, pickling, and whole-fruit canning.
