284 Quapaw Green is a productive midseason green-when-ripe tomato producing large, flat-round beefsteak fruits weighing approximately 10.6–17.6 oz in this seed line. The broad, gently ribbed fruits mature from deep green to amber green, olive green, and green-terracotta shades, while the shoulders remain darker green and may develop warm bronze or rosy blushes. The dense, meaty flesh is exceptionally juicy, often showing a pink marbled center, and delivers refined sweetness, savory richness, and a refreshing green-tomato finish. Vigorous indeterminate plants reach approximately 4.9–6.6 feet and continue setting heavy fruits over a long season. Provide sturdy staking or trellising for the large beefsteaks and harvest when the fruits soften slightly and their amber tones become more pronounced. Excellent for fresh slicing, sandwiches, salads, juices, sauces, and colorful tomato platters.
