273 True Colors is a remarkable Canadian True North tomato producing plump, variable heart-shaped fruits weighing approximately 6.3 to 15.9 oz, with occasional fruits approaching 1 lb. The extraordinary skin blends golden yellow, amber, olive green, rose pink, red, and dusky brown-purple tones, often finished with delicate green striping. Inside, the firm yet exceptionally juicy flesh displays luminous yellow and green coloring marbled with vivid pink and crimson streaks. The meaty, low-seed interior delivers concentrated tomato flavor, combining full sweetness with refreshing acidity and a long, savory-fruity finish. Indeterminate plants carry wispy potato-leaf foliage and may appear slender while developing surprisingly substantial fruits, so provide sturdy staking or trellising throughout the season. Excellent for fresh slicing, sandwiches, salads, tomato toast, colorful platters, salsa, and richly flavored sauces.
