269 Vernaya Lyubov, also known as True Love Long-Keeper, is a distinctive compact determinate tomato producing beautiful yellow-green to golden yellow hearts weighing approximately 7.1 to 10.6 oz. Fruits may range from rounded hearts to fuller heart-shaped slicers, often finished with a pronounced pointed tip. The firm, thick-walled flesh has an unusual apple-like crispness when sliced and bitten, yet remains exceptionally juicy with a clean, sweet tomato flavor. Compact bush plants generally reach approximately 2 to 3.3 ft, making them well suited to smaller gardens, containers, and protected growing spaces. Harvest fruits as they begin to color for extended keeping, then allow them to finish ripening indoors or on the counter. Productive plants provide a reliable crop of substantial fruits over the season. Excellent for fresh slicing, sandwiches, salads, lunchbox wedges, tomato platters, cooking, and long-keeper storage.
