264 Bogatyr Ilyusha is an early Russian tomato producing beautiful broad heart-shaped to blunt oxheart fruits weighing approximately 6.3 to 8.8 oz, with occasional fruits reaching 10.6 to 14.1 oz under favorable conditions. The skin develops a changing palette of emerald green, golden yellow, orange, red, and deep burgundy tones, often accented by attractive green striping as the fruit ripens. Inside, the dense yet juicy flesh has a rich tomato texture and delivers pleasant sweetness, gentle acidity, and a fruity finish. Vigorous indeterminate plants reach approximately 5.5 to 6.2 ft and set substantial fruits over a long harvest period. Provide sturdy staking or trellising, especially when growing the largest fruits, and maintain even moisture as the fruit develops.
