259 Sweet Adelaide is a productive midseason dwarf tomato producing medium to medium-large beefsteak fruits averaging approximately 8 oz. The broad, oblate tomatoes mature to rich crimson pink, with rounded shoulders and smooth to gently ribbed skin. Inside, the juicy pink flesh delivers a well-balanced flavor with generous sweetness and refreshing tomato acidity. Sturdy, compact plants develop rugose regular-leaf foliage and generally reach approximately 3–4 feet tall, bringing substantial slicing tomatoes to garden beds and large patio containers. Provide a strong cage or stake to support the productive branches and developing fruit. Excellent for fresh slicing, sandwiches, salads, burgers, and colorful tomato platters.
