Variety characteristics:

• 251 Dwarf Grinch is a distinctive green-when-ripe dwarf tomato introduced in 2020. Its sturdy, compact plants typically reach approximately 3–4 feet tall and display attractive dark green potato-leaf foliage. The dwarf indeterminate plants produce round to oblate beefsteak tomatoes weighing approximately 6–12 oz. At maturity, the skin softens from bright green to a warmer yellow-green or olive-green and may develop a delicate pink blush, while the interior remains a clear, vibrant green. The juicy, meaty flesh delivers pronounced sweetness, rich tomato character, and a lightly acidic finish that keeps the flavor lively and balanced. Its compact growth makes it well suited to raised beds, small gardens, patios, and large containers. Provide a sturdy stake or cage to support the substantial fruits and heavy fruit set. Excellent for fresh slicing, sandwiches, salads, green tomato platters, and colorful heirloom-style displays.
