Variety characteristics:

• 250 Jackass Red Dwarf is a compact, medium-height dwarf tomato producing substantial red fruits weighing approximately 4.6–14.1 oz. Fruit shape can vary from oblate and irregular beefsteak forms to broad hearts, with many of the larger tomatoes developing gently ribbed or pleated shoulders. The thick, meaty interiors have a smooth, creamy texture, small seed cavities, and relatively few seeds, especially in the largest fruits. Their rich, old-fashioned tomato character is led by pronounced sweetness with very little noticeable acidity, creating a mellow, full-bodied finish. Sturdy plants reach approximately 3.9 feet tall and deliver large slicing tomatoes while requiring considerably less vertical space than conventional indeterminate vines. Provide a strong stake or cage to support the heavy crop. Excellent for fresh slicing, sandwiches, burgers, salads, sauces, and classic heirloom tomato platters.
