244 Elena's Amethyst Heart is a spectacular mid-to-early-season indeterminate tomato producing substantial heart-shaped, rounded-heart, and occasional oblate fruits weighing approximately 5.3–14.1 oz. The glossy skin matures to deep rose, raspberry red, and chocolate red beneath dramatic amethyst-purple to nearly black anthocyanin shoulders that intensify with direct sunlight. Inside, the tender, meaty crimson flesh is exceptionally juicy and delivers pronounced sweetness, rich tomato depth, and an appealing fruity finish. Vigorous plants reach approximately 5.9 feet and set clusters of four to six fruits over an extended harvest season. Train plants to two main stems and provide sturdy staking or trellising for the heavy clusters. Excellent for fresh slicing, sandwiches, salads, roasting, sauces, and dramatic tomato platters.
