Variety characteristics:

• 227 Myriam Multiflora is a newer Belgian tomato developed and stabilized by Pascal Moreau of Stave from an off-type of Mirabelle Blanche. The indeterminate, regular-leaf plants reach approximately 5.9 feet tall and produce extraordinary multiflora trusses with hundreds of flowers and, when conditions are favorable, clusters carrying several dozen fruits. The red cherry tomatoes are round to slightly elongated and are estimated at approximately 0.35–0.7 oz each, with some variation possible between seed lots. Fruits offer juicy texture, pleasant sweetness, and a mild, fresh tomato flavor. Production begins in midseason and can continue until frost. Because the heavily branched trusses become extremely large and heavy, provide strong vertical support, trellising, or string training and allow generous spacing for airflow. Excellent for salad decoration, appetizer platters, cocktail snacks, lunch boxes, and abundant fresh eating.
