191 Märchenglanz, also known as Fairytale Shine, is a striking German anthocyanin tomato from Kleverhof's Fairytale series. This seed selection produces round cherry tomatoes weighing approximately 0.35–0.7 oz on vigorous indeterminate plants reaching about 5.9 feet tall. Sun-exposed fruits develop glossy blue-purple to nearly black skin, while fully ripe tomatoes reveal deep red to burgundy coloring beneath the anthocyanin pigmentation. Cut fruits display juicy red to pink flesh. The supplied grower selection is described as sweet, aromatic, and juicy, making the fruits excellent for garden snacking, salads, garnishes, antipasti, and colorful tomato platters. Provide stakes, cages, or trellising to support the tall vines and their clustered fruit. Allow the tomatoes to ripen fully for their best color and developed flavor.
