190 Gunmetal Grey is a visually distinctive Dean Slater tomato producing round to flattened beefsteaks weighing approximately 4.2–8.8 oz in this seed selection. The unusual skin combines bronze-grey, metallic pink, olive, and muted red tones with emerald-green striping and a softly dusted appearance. Supplied photographs of this selection show juicy yellow-green to olive flesh with darker seed gel. Flavor is rich and tomato-forward, combining sweetness with a pleasantly tart finish. Plants are reported to reach approximately 3.9–4.9 feet and produce generously when supported with sturdy stakes or cages. Gunmetal Grey has shown some variation among seed lines, so plant habit, leaf type, fruit size, and interior color may not be completely uniform. Its striking metallic coloration makes it an excellent choice for fresh slicing, sandwiches, salads, and multicolored tomato platters.
