184 Malominusinsky Orange is a Russian family heirloom associated with the Minusinsk region and the village of Malaya Minusa. This midseason indeterminate tomato produces large golden-orange fruits weighing approximately 10.6–15.9 oz. Fruit shape ranges from elongated hearts to broad ovals and blunt-ended plums, with smooth skin and substantial shoulders. The thick, juicy flesh has a creamy, melting texture and an exceptionally sweet, mild flavor. Relatively small seed cavities leave plenty of solid flesh for fresh slicing. Plants have a slender, lightly foliated structure and may remain near 4 feet outdoors while reaching approximately 5.2–5.9 feet under more vigorous conditions. Train to three or four main stems and provide sturdy stakes, cages, or trellising for the heavy fruit clusters. Excellent for fresh eating, sandwiches, salads, juice, golden sauces, and colorful heirloom platters.
