181 Tennessee Surprise Yellow Plum is a productive Ukrainian midseason indeterminate tomato associated with breeder A. I. Kulik. Vigorous vines reach approximately 5.9 feet and carry abundant clusters of elongated oval, plum-shaped, and gently pointed fruits. Tomatoes typically weigh approximately 0.9–1.1 oz in this seed selection. As they ripen, the yellow to golden-orange skin develops attractive pink, coral-red, or rosy stripes and blushes, with coloration varying among individual fruits. The juicy flesh delivers a pleasantly sweet flavor that makes these tomatoes especially enjoyable for fresh snacking, salads, lunch boxes, garnishes, and colorful tomato platters. Provide stakes, cages, or trellising to support the tall, heavily loaded vines.
