169 Fairy Elf is a tall, vigorous indeterminate tomato producing attractive oval to conical salad-sized fruits with gently pointed ends. Plants can reach approximately 6.9 feet and develop long, herringbone-style trusses with fruit weighing approximately 2.8–5.6 oz each. The skin ripens from pale green to yellow-green and is decorated with distinctive darker green stripes, while the interior remains a beautiful translucent green. The exceptionally tender, creamy flesh is juicy, balanced, and sweet with very little acidity. This unusual gourmet tomato is ideal for fresh slicing, salads, sandwiches, colorful platters, and specialty culinary presentations. Provide sturdy staking or trellising to support the tall vines and heavy fruit clusters.
