163 Green Ghost is a midseason indeterminate salad tomato producing smooth, round fruits with an unusual ghostly green appearance. Vigorous plants can reach approximately 6.2–6.6 feet and provide generous, regular harvests from midseason until frost. Fruits typically weigh approximately 1.4–2.6 oz each and measure about 2–2.4 inches across. The skin remains green to yellow-green when ripe and may develop an attractive amber, brown, or soft pink blush. The flavor is complex and fruity, combining gentle sweetness with a subtle savory bitterness and excellent overall balance. This distinctive variety is ideal for fresh snacking, salads, sandwiches, colorful platters, and specialty tomato displays. Provide sturdy staking or trellising for the tall vines.
