155 Williams'Striped is a late-season, vigorous indeterminate heirloom tomato believed to have originated in Kentucky. The tall vines produce large, oblate beefsteak fruits with strongly ribbed shoulders and softly rounded sides. Fruits typically weigh approximately 10.6–26.5 oz, with exceptional specimens reaching 1 lb or more. As they ripen, the yellow base color develops broad pink to red striping and attractive blushes. Inside, the golden-yellow flesh is marbled with pink and has a juicy, tender texture reminiscent of pineapple. The flavor is sweet, bright, citrusy, and richly aromatic. Provide sturdy staking or trellising and prune selectively to support the heavy fruits. Excellent for fresh slicing, sandwiches, salads, gourmet platters, and colorful heirloom displays.
