151 Ribbon is a productive midseason indeterminate tomato producing large, exceptionally colorful beefsteak fruits. The round to slightly flattened tomatoes typically weigh approximately 7.1–17.6 oz each. Their unusual reddish-brown, brick-red, and olive-toned skin is decorated with striking metallic green stripes, giving every ripe fruit a distinctive appearance. Inside, the pinkish-brown to dusky rose flesh is meaty, juicy, and intensely aromatic, with a rich, full-bodied tomato flavor. Vigorous tall vines require sturdy staking or trellising, regular tying, and selective pruning to support the heavy crop. An excellent specialty tomato for fresh slicing, sandwiches, salads, sauces, gourmet platters, and colorful heirloom displays.
