1135 Ochre Symphony F8 is a striking midseason indeterminate tomato developed by Russian breeder Sofia Saakova. Regular-leaf vines grow approximately 5.6–5.9 feet tall and produce large plum-heart to heart-shaped fruits weighing about 3.5–7.1 oz. The unusual skin ripens to warm ochre, mustard-gold, and olive-green tones accented by elegant green striping; fruits exposed to strong sunlight may also develop a subtle anthocyanin blush. Inside, the dense, juicy golden-ochre flesh has a smooth, buttery texture with very few seeds. Its exceptionally sweet flavor is complemented by a delicate fruity finish. Productive vines require sturdy staking or trellising and are well suited to fresh slicing, salads, sandwiches, and colorful tomato platters.
