The skin is covered with thin metallic deep green striping, giving the fruit a striking wrapped-string appearance, which inspired the name 'The Thong.' As the fruit ripens, the purple base becomes richer and the green striping becomes more dramatic. Plants grow about 31-47 in outdoors and may reach up to 5 ft in a greenhouse.
