Variety characteristics:

• 1092 Micro Tom Tomato, also known as Micro-Tom, Mini Tom, or ultra-dwarf tomato, was bred by the University of Florida in 1989. Originally developed as an ornamental miniature tomato, it is now also widely used as a standard model tomato variety in plant research. It is considered one of the world's smallest tomato varieties, with mature plants only 6-8 in tall and 6-8 in wide. Plants are fully determinate, self-topping, and do not require pruning, staking, or support. The compact plants have small, densely hairy leaves, strong branching, and a full ornamental habit. They can grow well in small pots, on windowsills, desktops, or under indoor grow lights. Harvest can begin about 50-60 days after transplanting, or approximately 70-90 days from seed to ripe fruit
