Variety characteristics:

• 1060 Tempting Cheeks Tomato is a new bicolor beefsteak-type variety that ripens in the midseason window, about 110-115 days from germination to fruiting. Plants produce large, flattened fruits weighing about 7-12.3 oz. Mature tomatoes show an unusual yellow-orange base with red striping and purple speckling on the shoulders; stronger sunlight can intensify both the red striping and the purple markings. The flesh is orange with a pink center, very juicy and meaty, with a sweet, low-acid flavor and a pleasant citrus finish. Excellent for aromatic summer salads, fresh slicing, and colorful vegetable platters.
