• 106 Etoile Chocolate is a tall, productive tomato selection with an ornamental display of chocolate-red fruit. Plants reach approximately 5.9–6.6 feet and develop a relatively tidy habit with fewer side shoots. Fruit clusters may carry up to 10 tomatoes; the first fruits on a cluster can show pronounced ribbing, while shape may range from flattened to somewhat elongated. A published listing gives fruit weight as approximately 2.5–3.5 oz. The ripe fruits have a sweet flavor and rich red-brown coloring, sometimes retaining green tones near the shoulders.
