🌱 Plant Characteristics: Bellfarm® Chinese Skullcap is a perennial herb with branching stems, no or sparse upward soft hairs, and fleshy rhizomes. Its lanceolate or linear-lanceolate leaves are blunt at the tips, rounded at the base, with smooth edges and sparse soft hairs. The flowers are violet-red or blue, glandular-hairy, with a triangular-ovate lower lip segment. The fruits are blackish-brown, ovate-globose, with a basal navel-like protrusion. Flowering occurs from July to August, while fruiting occurs from August to September.
